All the bottled water you drink, whether it comes from a 5-gallon cooler or a single serve bottle, is purified to bottle water quality. In fact, 40% of bottled water comes from a municipal source (tap) before being bottled, but even spring water requires purification “to catch anything nature may have missed.”

Clarus Pure Water Coolers use the same purification technologies that the bottled water companies use – only that technology is inside the cooler. Essentially, each cooler is a bottled water plant right in your workplace. As a result, our coolers provide you Better Water, At Less Cost, Without the Bottle Hassle, and in an Environmentally Friendly Manner.

Better Water

  • Clarus Pure Water Coolers use a 3-stage filtration process which has been tested by the Water Quality Association (WQA) to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 53 requirements.
  • Clarus Coolers have In-Tank Sanitization™ which utilizes UV Light in the chiller tank to prevent any bacterial growth. The cold storage tank of a traditional bottled water cooler is dark, wet, and exposed to air – the perfect breeding ground for biofilm, a slimy combination of bacteria, fungi, algae and protozoa.
  • In the delivery, storage, and changing process, the neck of a 5-gallon water bottle is touched by many hands. While the bottled is stored awaiting use, the neck is exposed to dust and other contaminants as well. The neck of that bottle is then submerged into the water tank of the cooler, introducing all those contaminants to your drinking water. A Clarus Pure Water Cooler is sealed from all exposure.
  • The spigots of a traditional water cooler are exposed and touch drinking cups which have been in other people’s hands and mouths. The spigots of a Clarus Pure Water Cooler are recessed and don’t come into contact with hands or cups.
  • Clarus Pure Water Coolers are manufactured using BioCote®, silver technology giving them built-in anti microbial protection. BioCote® protected surfaces reduce bacteria by up to 99.9%. including MRSA, E-coli, and Pseudomonas.

Less Cost

  • Clarus Pure Water Coolers are rented for a flat rate which is about the price of 3 five-gallon bottles per month. In a workplace using just 5 bottles per week, the savings is over $1,200 annually.
  • Number of 5-gal bottles used per week 1 yr. Savings 2 yr. Savings 3 yr. Savings
    10 $480 $960 $1440
    20 $1260 $2520 $3780
    30 $2040 $4080 $6120

  • Clarus Pure Water Coolers produce an unlimited supply of pure water. Use it to make coffee, ice, and other beverages. In fact, we’ll even connect your coffee maker or ice machine at no additional charge.

No Bottle Hassles

  • No more changing bottles. No more finding someone who can lift them. No more injuries from employees lifting 42 lb bottles.
  • No more mess from spilled water when changing bottles.
  • No more delivery person dragging a dirty cart through your office – particularly on a rainy day.
  • No security/safety issue of a delivery person in your office, warehouse or manufacturing area. No need to escort them through your facility.
  • No calling your bottled water company because you ran out and no special delivery charge for bringing you more.
  • No charges for “lost bottles.”
  • No reconciling your monthly bill for charges for bottles delivered, credits for bottles returned.
  • No fuel service charges

Eco Friendly

Clarus Pure Water Coolers do not require the manufacture, transport, distribution or storage of bottled water.

  • The World Wildlife Foundation estimates that 1.5 Million tons of plastic are used globally each year for water bottles
  • Most bottles are made of the oil-derived polyethylene terephthalate know as PET which generates more than 100 times the toxic emissions in the form of nickel, ethylbenzene, ethylene oxide and benzene than the same amount of glass bottles
  • Delivering bottled water burns fossil fuels and results in the release of thousands of tons of harmful emissions
  • Large amounts of energy is used in bottling process
  • Energy is required to remove the empty bottles in form of recycling or trash

Clarus Pure Water Coolers reduce your environmental footprint by lessening the impact that bottling water has on the environment

  • The Container Recycling Institute (CRI) estimates that supplying the US bottled water market for 1 year consumes more than 1.5 million barrels of oil, which is enough to generate electricity for more than 250,000 homes or enough to fuel 100,000 cars for an entire year
  • The CRI estimates that 90% of plastic water bottles end up as either garbage or litter
  • Pumping water from the ground to make bottled water dries out fresh water springs, destroys habitats, devastates ecosystems, and drains fresh water aquifers
  • Plastic water bottles can take as long as 1,000 years to biodegrade.
  • Plastic now accounts for 25% of the total volume of material sent to landfills every year
